I dozed off during this one. Away from the armchair as I was, the mattress inviting. I missed only the second goal, but could see that this was the kind of Belgian team that we've been waiting to see. The kind of team that deserves a number 2 in the world FIFA ranking.
Ireland looked outclassed, lacking bite up front, the ageing Robbie Keane only warranting a cameo as a late sub, but by then it was all over. Chelsea-bound Romelu Lukaku joined the group of scorers with a brace in the tournament so far.
