The game was heading for the first 0-0 of le tournoi, before Griezmann (a German, surely!) and Payet (heading for the player of the tournament / golden boot award, surely) intervened to book the host's place in the knock out rounds.
Albania fought well, perhaps deserved a point but, thanks to the extended format of the tournament, live to fight til the end.
