I predicted big things for Russia.
I thought they'd be well up for this tournament, what with the World Cup coming to their place in two years.
Seems like only their thuggish fans are up for the fight. On the field, their team has looked sluggish. Devoid of ideas and talent, their speedy full backs aside.
Slovakia impressed again. Unlucky against Wales, they deserved this, with a brace of well-taken goals. They looked up against it for the final ten after Russia pulled one back, but a draw here would have been undeserved, not to mention annoying as I'd predicted a 2-1 to Slovakia here.
