Just a few hours until kick off. And it’s
time to get the winner unveiled. Those who have been following this soap opera
will realise my predictions have left me with the following semi-final line-up:
SPAIN v SWEDEN
GERMANY v FRANCE
Big games in anyone’s book, unless their
book is small.
From that, the finalists will be:
SPAIN v FRANCE
Yes, I see the hosts trumping the Germans
and the holders eating the Swedes for breakfast, although as everyone knows, Swedes are best
consumed at dinner time.
The final will go to extra time and the
winners will be
FRANCE
They’ve won both the previous tournaments
to be held on their soil, and I see them doing it again.
