Euro 2016 RO16: Poland 1-1 Switzerland (5-4 on pens)

Way, way wide.
The penalty miss that denied Switzerland was a long way off target, and it followed a beauty by Shaquiri in normal time, possibly the goal of the tournament that levelled things up.

Extra time had been a waste of time. Pedestrian at best. Poland had deservedly taken the lead, but rather than go for the kill they sat back, let the Swiss back in and paid the price.

Lewandowski is struggling. A hangover from the Munich season no doubt, plus he's carrying a knock. For the Poles to proceed beyond the next round, they need him to change that.
