That late, late winner against Italy and
early, early goal against France were highlights for a team and set of fans who
always bring colour and fun to a tournament.
And the team did their nation proud, making
it through from the toughest group and only narrowly losing out to the hosts.
You’re always going to get guile and fight
and spirit from a team with O’Neill and Keane at the helm, and so it proved.
